At this year’s Kapi‘olani CC Scholarship Mahalo dinner, more than 200 scholarship recipients and donors came together to celebrate the impact private support makes in the lives of community college students and their families. Students were grateful for the opportunity to personally thank the people who are helping them finance their dreams. Conversations were lively, and guests enjoyed meeting old friends and making new ones.

Kula Produce has begun construction on a new produce facility at the Maui Lani Village Center, which should be completed at the end of 2016.

"We're very excited about this opportunity to build a brand-new facility, the way we want it, from the ground up," said Mark Teruya, chairman and chief executive officer of Armstrong Produce, parent company of Kula Produce.
