Produce Pro Software and Armstrong Produce worked together to develop the case study which describes how implementation of Produce Pro’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) has increased efficiencies and provided a reduction in costs within the Armstrong Produce operation.
The Hawaiʻi Agricultural Foundation (HAF) has gathered a diverse group of chefs, farmers, food suppliers and policy makers for the inaugural launch of EAT THINK DRINK presented by Hawaiian Airlines on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at THE MODERN HONOLULU. The new food and agricultural series is meant to spark new ideas and build a vibrant community of local consumers who are eager to learn from diverse viewpoints.
At this year’s Kapi‘olani CC Scholarship Mahalo dinner, more than 200 scholarship recipients and donors came together to celebrate the impact private support makes in the lives of community college students and their families. Students were grateful for the opportunity to personally thank the people who are helping them finance their dreams. Conversations were lively, and guests enjoyed meeting old friends and making new ones.
Kula Produce has begun construction on a new produce facility at the Maui Lani Village Center, which should be completed at the end of 2016.
"We're very excited about this opportunity to build a brand-new facility, the way we want it, from the ground up," said Mark Teruya, chairman and chief executive officer of Armstrong Produce, parent company of Kula Produce.
Armstrong Produce, a member of UH's Corporate Partner Program, is among a growing list of companies that are stepping up to help UH provide its student-athletes with the nutritional support they need following strenuous practices and weight-training sessions.
